1. vivek patil

Why did you put Abhimanyus pic in the thumbnail? For Indian views right? Stop this. I thought he won.

    2. Immanuel Lasker

Really amazing...crazy. Bravery at its best! Thanks for sharing.

    3. sreenish

Good game, we r waiting for these types of weared game..

    4. Zulfaris Eka Permata

Waw. Each player play agresive and so much combination. Impresive game and very good analysys

    5. suckerpinch

      Hell yeah!

    6. Pancho Garbo

I found the entire mate in like 10 seconds, I was like "theres no way thats actually it." As I am an unrated player. I resumed the video and sure enough I had gotten every move correct. It felt instinctual too which is bizarre

    7. Kasia Lotnik

      very interesting

    8. Ahmet Yavuz GÖKDEMİR

The same Stockfish vs. AlphaZero Games. OMFG!!!

    9. Mike M

"It would be a shame not to see this game."

    10. Jolly Roger

I mean to have the game vs Carlsen alone is already memorable but then to create this masterpiece as well is seriously impressive. Sjugirov, a name that will be remembered forever.

    11. Ashiq Biniyam

Luckily I could find the mate....but it's actually hard to find one when you are playing it.

    12. David Arford

I don't want to see crazy Bernie everytime I watch a chess video

    13. Eugene

      4:07 "That's not a bishop" LMAO

    14. Andrew Schultz

Wow! This game was so absorbing, I forgot to watch Medo rolling around behind!

    15. Théo Genand

I found it but everything was forced so it wasn't that hard

    16. mardenhill

not a réti opening, antonio. it’s the ZUKERTORT opening - réti came way later.

    17. mardenhill

the spirit of zukertort is strong in this one!

    18. Christopher Radda

I really wanted to hear, "captures, captures, captures, captures, captures, captures, captures... and now Qd1..."

    19. Tristan Rujano

In the beginning/middle game at 2:20 when Knight F5 was played, black could've played pawn to e4, attacking the knight but also opening up an attack on the undefended knight on c3. It seemed obvious to me but I guess there's a reason for not doing that

    20. Italian Pills

      Never ending story

    21. DrazTic_Potato

Since I Knew there was a mate I found it but otherwise I probably would not had found it.

    22. Dot.

Havent watched yet but.. mate in fuckin 7(?!) dude..i feel like plumber in harvard now

    23. Lena Sandner

Absolutely crazy position. I didn't even see half of what was going on there

    24. Geethika Prakash

    25. tyrell wreleck

      Puramik has a punchable face.

    26. cougjimmy

You had my thumbs up at hello!

    27. G. G.

      3:07 NxC2?

    28. MrDabeast98

At 2:17, why wouldn’t black just play E4?

    29. Mat Huff

      water = vodka ;)

    30. JellyMonster1

      Amazing game!

    31. israel harari

Wild and crazy game. Its a good thing it was classic form because the complicatinons would be impossible to in blitz to everyone but maybe Carlesen

    32. Pedro Henrique

3:22 does Qe7 works for Black, as it comes with an attack on the rook?

    33. Dean Cheong

Carlson's worst lost ever? Skips this and proceeds to click the link and watch that other game

    34. Ray Jim

Impressive deep manipulation. Why this guy hasn't reach 2700 club is perplexing

    35. Myles Hubert

    36. Yukan Perumal

This is an epic birthday video!

    37. Nicholas Liu

At 5.55, 1...cxd6 2. Qb3 Re1 3. f4? Does that work? Blocks the h6-c1 diagonal and prepares Kf2, unpinning the bishop and attacking the rook

    38. jaggedben

I actually found the mate this time. Maybe I'm getting better at this.

    39. Stalking Like Candy

It's been a good couple of episodes for the dog. There was the classic 'someon'e at the door' and now we've got 'going nuts on the couch'.

    40. Oliver F.

Finding the Mate wasn‘t that hard, i think. For me as a 1500 Player

    41. Supernova

      What a wild game!! Stunning!

    42. SprayaK SaijayiN

In the spirit of Mikhail Tal

Lucid explanation of the game and deep game analysis simplified by Antonio. Thank you Antonio and agadmator. Well deserved victory by GM Sanan Sjugirov. Sound defensive technique by GM Abhimanyu Puranik to prolong defeat. Congratulations and kudos to both players for crafting such a wonderful chess game for chess enthusiasts.

    73. C Scott

Wow that Siugirov is new Misha Tal 😲

      1. Akshay Gokhale

@C Scott I congratulate and admire GM Sanan Sjugirov for his well deserved victory and give him all the credit for his well crafted win. He played magnificent chess and demonstrated us how to build and execute an attack which hasn't got any defensive reply. Do well my friend. Wish you all the best!

      2. C Scott

Akshay Gokhale Not at all dear, I know all that about Misha Tal and I agree with you. But I just love the way how Siugirov run the attack in this game. It was really brilliant

      3. Akshay Gokhale

Sorry dear! Mikhail Tal is the all time great legend . There can't be another Mikhail Tal. I agree that the great legend Mikhail Tal would have been proud of GM Sanan Sjugirov. But it would be insane to compare GM Sanan Sjugirov with the great legend Mikhail Tal. Well, super talented GM Sanan Sjugirov has got a long way to reach to highest realm of chess where the great legend Mikhail Tal lived. I apologise you if at all my views have hurt your sentiment.

4 years ago I had seen abhimanyu puranik in city level competition in Pune, India. He was around 2200 that time and destroyed everybody with 9/9 and qúalified for State level chess. He has travelled a lot and played many chess competitions. It is good to see him become a GM. P.S. I scored 6/9 points in that competition 😅

      1. Akshay Gokhale

How lucky you are to have participated in the same tournament when GM Abhimanyu Puranik was also participant then! You are really fortunate to have witness GM Abhimanyu Puranik as a co-participant.
